A lot has been happening since we last updated you in April. The ecology teams have been busy doing various surveys, we talk about the recent Government announcements regarding the fast-track consenting process, as well as potential changes in Manawa Energy’s ownership.

We’ve been working on a few things since our last update regarding the proposed Kaihiku Wind Farm. It was great to meet some of you at our first public open day, since then we’ve carried out initial vegetation and wildlife surveys and we’ve engaged archaeologists to do a site walk over to identify if there are any significant heritage sites.
